We are lowering our bottom!
The Alton Marina is in the process of being dredged, and there are a few things that we want you to know!
Please be aware that the dredge pipe is floating near the surface of the water on the East end of the Marina, and will be moving around a bit as the work progresses.
The dredge piping has arrived at the Marina, and work to begin laying it in place will begin on Tuesday March 9th. The company that is doing the work will be fusing together and laying out over 2000 feet of the pipe.
